I found this 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG R230 leaving Shaw's Supermarket on 8/1/2017. I haven't seen it since. Not sure who "LIS" is but he's apparently thankful for them. This car is on what's known as a Maine "Sportsman" Plate. The proceeds from the sale of these plates goes as follows: 10% supports endangered species conservation, 50% goes to Maine's fish hatcheries, 25% builds a stronger landowner relations program and 15% develops boat launches for public access to Maine's inland waterways. Pretty neat.
